In God's Word we have this beautiful presentation of a promise from God that should stir our hearts every time we think about it. Romans 8: 32. "He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?" How much did it cost God to send His only begotten son down here to earth to be despised and rejected of man, but still go to an exceedingly painful death on the cross so He could purchase eternal salvation for all who will believe on Him? This same God who suffered so greatly in our place will do everything in His power to help and bless His chosen people as long as they ask in faith nothing wavering.

Some one many years ago wrote a poem that precisely captures this verse in the 8th chapter of Romans; only he reversed the presention: "My soul ask what thou wilt, Thou canst not be too bold, Since His own blood for you He spilt, What else would He withold?" What else indeed, according to Paul's statement in Romans 8.

What is left for Christians is to take God at His Word and ask boldly for His help and grace for the task of reaching the lost for the Lord Jesus Christ.
